Meet Your Instructor!

Heather has been a licensed vet tech for over 20 years, licensed in both New York and North Carolina.  She has recently completed a 2 year extensive and rigorous program that certified her in pet BLS, ALS, CPR, and instructor.  Much of her working life was spent in shelter medicine, animal rescue, and foster.

She currently resides in Moore County with her 4 rescue dogs, 4 cats (taken from the street of course), 60 (ish) quail, and a spider named Tony. There is a peacock heading our way!  She has a great love for ALL creatures with a specific affinity for those who have had a rough start or may be 'too spicy'.
